hookah is very intuitive -
one often looks at the
design, colour, size and
also the price attached to
it. But most often people
ignore few important
parameters while hookah
shopping especially when its
their first hookah.
Size, Design and
aesthesis are a matter of
personal choice. Here are
few points which will enable
you to choose the right

Hookah Head choose
the one tat has a wider
diameter of about
2inches and a depth of
1.5inches approx. it
allows you to mix
greater quantity of
flavour and wider space
for the coal to be
placed which is ideal
smoking for a hookah
aficionado. Use a
ceramic or porcelain
hookah head for
starters.

Hookah Stem is
arguably the most
important part of a
Hookah. Every Hookah
user should search for a
solid, heavy feeling,
stainless steel hookah
stem which has long
enough pipes going into
the water of the hookah
base. Also check the
stem by blowing into it
from the hose and check
if the air freely blows.
If there is any
resistance, the stem is
damaged and should not
be purchased / used.

Hookah Base should
fit seamlessly with the
hookah stem and should
also be sturdy enough to
support all other
pieces. Avoid buying
thin glass that is
liable to break or metal
that will rust or stain
even though it may look
attractive.

Number of Hoses is
subjective based on
personal use. Use
multiple hoses in your
hookah when you
frequently have parties
or social gatherings.
Smoking out from two or
more hoses decreases the
quantity of smoke and
one may need to pull
harder.

The size
of the hookah you buy
depends largely on your use
and budget. As the sizes go
up prices tend to go higher

size hookahs tend to be
for personal use and
have a hard time
accommodating more than
one person.

Medium size hookahs are
the best (in my
opinion). They are large
enough that will last
one or two smokers a
good hour. At the same
time they are small
enough for easy clean up
and storage. Medium
hookahs also tend to
smoke better than small
size hookahs as they
have more space to store
the smoke in the base.

hookahs can accommodate
parties and get
together. They smoke
better than small
hookahs and generally
the same as medium size
hookahs.

How Many Hoses? |
|
Obviously
more than one hose is to
accommodate more than one
smoker at a time. Therefore
it is mostly used at parties
and gatherings. Smoking out
of two or or more hose
hookahs decreases the
quality of smoke and the
pull is harder too. In good
two or more hose hookahs the
pull and smoke can stiff be
great while probably not as
good as single hose of the
same type. |
